I absolutely LOVE living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. As a photographer there are so many different looks and vibes I can create for a session. My high school senior clients have a variety of tastes and I have a ton of spots that I love to use in the area for their portraits… so I thought I would highlight a few on my blog!
Fort Worth
AROUND DOWNTOWN – Fort Worth has so much to offer for locations! I could honestly spend an entire day shooting in downtown alone! Cool architecture, old buildings, and cityscapes…
MAGNOLIA AREA – Magnolia street has a great variety of looks… Cute shops, bright colored walls, hints of greenery and foliage! It is such a fun and eclectic part of town and a great area to stop in for a snack during your session!
THE FOUNDRY DISTRICT – A new favorite area for colorful walls and murals.. and fun surprises in between! Make sure you take a moment to read the mantras for a fun scavenger hunt.
STOCKYARDS AREA – You don’t have to go full on western (unless you want to) for the stockyards. There are some beautiful natural areas with cactus (perfect for a Bohemian vibe or Coachella look) and also cool stairs and walls all around!
NATURE NEAR FORT WORTH – You honestly don’t have to go too far outside of downtown Fort Worth to find the perfect field… or even waterfalls for your senior portraits! Two of my faves are Tandy Hills Nature Center and Northwest Community Park! Both are a short drive from downtown and can easily be added to your session! If you want FLOWERS for your session make sure you take advantage of early booking dates in MAY!
DALLAS
DOWNTOWN and all around! From fun-colored murals in Uptown to the classy and sophisticated vibes of the Arts District all the way to the edginess of Deep Ellum. Dallas has a ton of options for senior portraits that literally change every year! Just choose your look!
