Frequently Asked Questions

How much do senior sessions cost, and what's included?

My session fee is $350. It covers my time, my talent, and your in-person ordering appointment. That means planning support, outfit guidance, location curation, and posing direction on shoot day. Prints and digital files are separate, with collections starting at $1,350. Every AMPSENIORS session is planned around you, so you're never paying for a rushed, cookie-cutter shoot.

What's included in your collections, and how much do most families invest?

My collections start at $1,350, and most families invest between $2,000 and $3,000. I'm a full-service studio, so I handle everything from archive-quality albums to framed wall art and custom photo products. I work with the best print lab in the nation, and every product comes with a lifetime warranty. Your senior photos are for the next 30 years, not just this year.

Do you offer digital images?

Yes, digital files are included in my most popular collections, and the number depends on the collection you choose. You'll have images ready to share on social media, send to family, and submit for the yearbook. At your Image Premiere, I'll walk you through each option so you can pick the one that fits what matters most to you.

How long does a session last?

A session lasts up to about three hours. That gives us time for multiple outfits and locations without ever feeling rushed. Senior year is a milestone worth capturing properly, not quickly, so we'll take the time to get the shots you'll love for years to come.

How many outfits can I bring, and what should I wear?

Bring as many outfits as you'd like. I don't limit outfits, but most seniors find three or four is the sweet spot. Choose pieces that give you variety, fit you well, and make you feel confident. When you book, you'll get my What to Wear guide with tips and inspiration so you can plan outfits that look amazing at every location. Don't settle for basic!

Is hair and makeup included?

Hair and makeup isn't included in the session fee, but I have several talented artists I've worked with for years and happily recommend. Professional hair and makeup helps you feel polished on camera while still looking like you. I'll share my favorites so you can walk into your session feeling amazing.

Can parents come to the session?

Yes! I love having parents be part of the experience. Watching your senior light up in front of the camera is a moment you won't want to miss. Bringing a friend is a great idea too. A familiar face keeps things fun, helps you relax, and usually leads to some of the most genuine smiles of the day.

Do you photograph senior guys?

Absolutely. Senior guys deserve a session built for them. Most guys walk in skeptical and worried they'll look stiff, but you don't need to know how to pose. That's literally my job. I keep it relaxed and real, and I'm known around DFW as a go-to photographer for senior guys. You might actually have fun.

Where do you photograph, and how many locations can we do?

I photograph in my studio in Keller and at a ton of locations around downtown Fort Worth, Dallas, and the surrounding DFW area. Most sessions include several locations, and a single session can include both studio and outdoor spots for a mix of city and nature. Dreaming bigger? I'm available for destination sessions too. A small travel fee applies to sessions outside DFW or at a destination.

What happens if it rains?

If it rains or conditions aren't ideal, I'm happy to reschedule. I want your session day to be perfect, not something you settle for. A few days before your session, I'll reach out to check in and confirm the weather looks good, so you can focus on getting excited instead of watching the forecast.

When is the best time to book my senior session?

Book your session two to three months in advance. Most seniors book the summer between junior and senior year because it fits easily into their schedule. Many yearbooks have fall deadlines, so plan to have your photos finished before November or December of senior year, and check your school's date early. AMPSENIORS books out months ahead, so snag your date early!

What happens after my session?

You'll be back within about a week for your ordering appointment, which I call your Image Premiere. You'll watch a slideshow of every image from your session, then we'll narrow down your favorites and design your products together. I do in-person ordering because guiding you through this process is part of my service. Final products are delivered within two weeks of your Image Premiere.

What areas and high schools do you serve?

I photograph seniors from Keller and Southlake, including Carroll, plus all the surrounding high schools across Fort Worth and DFW. My studio is based in Keller, and I've been photographing seniors for 15+ years. I'm a Senior Style Guide magazine Hot 100 award winner with 50+ five-star Google reviews. Wherever you're graduating from, let's chat about your dream session.
