When your client sends you a photo of a wall that she MUST have for her photos you plan the whole session around it and make it perfect!! This colorful mural is in Denton, Texas and Makinley fell in love with it. So we decided to head to Denton for her session and we did a fun combo of outfits and locations. To start, we rented some time at the lovely Lumen Room Studio for two of her outfits. The studio is adorable with a great selection of props and lovely light (although I always bring my Profoto lights to be prepared in all situations!) Then, we headed to the super fun wall of her dreams for her “little black dress” look. It is one of those spots when you pull up and think… wow, that is it? But then you start shooting and magic happens. Then, we ended our session time together in a makeshift field behind an elementary school. Yep, sometimes you gotta get creative on spots. But, you would have never guessed the location based on the final images we created together and the light was perfect for the ending shots!
We had an absolute blast together that day and my favorite part of the session was seeing Makinley light up and getting to shoot at her dream spot.
I loved my session so much! Angela made me feel so confidenct and made it so fun, not a boring shoot! She knew how to make a girl feel confident and excited for her senior photos!
