This is one of my most absolute FAVORITE ages to photograph…. the 7 to 8 month old session!  Honestly, you really don’t need any props… just insert a cute baby and watch for awesome expressions.  Miss Catherine had plenty of precious expressions for me!  What a sweet little one.  I am kinda a sucker for red heads with big blue eyes ya know.

Many people ask me what are the best ages for baby photos?  I like to go by milestones… which is typically

Birth (within the first 10 days for those lovely squishy newborn photos),

4 months (capture those first smiles!)

7 – 8 months (sitting up/crawling/great expressions!)

One year (the end to an amazing year/standing/cake smash sessions!)
